From Youth to Elite Levels

Development tailored to age, experience, and ambition.

We work with:

  • Youth goalies learning fundamentals
  • Competitive travel players
  • High school & AAA athletes
  • Junior prospects
  • Collegiate-level goaltenders

No matter the level, our commitment remains the same: technical excellence and measurable improvement.

The Goalie Dr Performance System

A layered progression approach to mastery.

Movement Foundation

Skating, edges, balance, and body control

Technical Structure

Save mechanics, positioning, post-play integration

Situational Execution

Rush reads, traffic management, second saves

Mental Performance

Reset habits, composure, confidence, leadership

Built From the Crease Out

Created by goalies, for goalies.

GoalieDR was founded on a simple belief: goaltenders deserve specialized, intelligent development that matches the demands of the modern game.

Today’s goaltender must be:

  • Technically efficient
  • Positionally adaptable
  • Mentally composed
  • Explosively athletic
  • Tactically aware

We created GoalieDR to deliver structured training systems that reflect how the game is actually played – not outdated methods built on volume alone.

Summer Coaches

Elite experience. Expanded opportunity.

During the summer months, we expand our staff to provide increased availability and specialized instruction during our highest-volume training season.

Our summer coaching team includes:

  • Brendhan Brawley (Knoxville Ice Bears)
  • Michael Manzi (El Paso Rhinos)
  • Ryan Harris (Markham Royals)
  • Patrick Quinlan (USA Hockey NTDP 17U)
  • Ryan Cameron (Long Island Gulls 18U)
  • Christian Amato (New Jersey 87s)
  • Primo Baldassarre (Connecticut Collegiate Program)

Their high-level playing and coaching experience strengthens the competitive environment of our camps and offseason sessions.

Together, our coaching staff ensures that every goalie receives structured instruction rooted in the same technical foundation.

Developing Goalies Beyond the Crease

Teaching reinforces mastery.

We encourage our higher-level youth goalies to serve as mentors during camps and clinics.

Mentors play an active role in session flow by:

  • Demonstrating drills with technical precision
  • Reinforcing proper movement patterns
  • Modeling communication and leadership
  • Supporting younger athletes during skill progression

Teaching a skill requires deeper understanding. By explaining and demonstrating mechanics, mentors strengthen their own habits while elevating the athletes around them.

The Team Behind the Standard

Growth at scale requires alignment, trust, and expertise.

The Goalie Dr. operates on a foundation of detail, structure, and accountability. As our training footprint expands across organizations and offseason programs, our support coaches play a critical role in maintaining that standard.

They are carefully selected for their experience, professionalism, and ability to teach within our development framework. Every support coach understands our technical language, progression model, and expectation for purposeful repetition.

Their role ensures that every goalie – in every session – receives consistent, high-quality instruction.

Our support staff includes coaches actively working within collegiate and competitive hockey environments:

  • Christian Green (Neumann University)
  • Jacob Snellenberg (University of Delaware)
  • Logan Gorbitz (Neumann University)

These coaches assist in private lessons, organizational training, and seasonal development programming.
